When you first find out that you have an upcoming relocation to Kenosha Wisconsin, one of your first decisions is whether to look at new homes in Kenosha Wisconsin or existing homes in Kenosha Wisconsin. You can also contract to have a home built to your specifications. While it may be tempting to build a new home from scratch, you have to factor in the stress of not having a permanent home during the months of construction. You may want to consider “spec” homes that builders have almost completed. This will give you the freedom to choose colors and styles, but will also enable you to move into your new home shortly after your relocation to Kenosha Wisconsin. I have friends that lived in a 2 room efficiency motel for 5 ½ months (with 2 children and a dog!) while their home was being built. She told me that she would never do that again. She loved having a new home, but has decided that if she ever moves across country again, she will not subject her family to that experience again.
Kenosha (pronounced [k?'no??]) is a city in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. It is estimated that Kenosha's population as of 2006 is approximately 96,845. Kenosha is the county seat of Kenosha County, the southeasternmost county in Wisconsin. On the southwestern shores of Lake Michigan, Kenosha is the fourth largest city in Wisconsin behind Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay. Kenosha is sometimes considered to be the Chicago metropolitan area's northernmost city at 60 miles distance from the Chicago epicenter; Kenosha is also 35 miles south of Milwaukee. The greater Kenosha area is of high archeological interest since the discovery of pre-Clovis culture settlements in the late 20th century. These prehistoric settlements date to the approximate era of the Wisconsin glaciation. The Paleo Indians, as archaeologists call these peoples, first settled in the area at least 13,500 years ago. -- Source: Wikipedia.com AskMe a Question About Kenosha, WisconsinTo ask a question or make a comment about Kenosha, Wisconsin Click Here.
